History of Dr. Bodds
Dr Bodds Old Hat Band was built from the ashes of the popular 1970's Garstang folk Club.
The then nameless resident band consisting of John Bamber (JC) and Kate and Bob Mackin, were joined as the years went by by both established and novice musicians.
Following the wonder years of the folk club, the residents found themselves various hostelries who permitted them to amuse their customers.
The rest is history as they say, and now, after the turn of the century,they have grown in popularity and numbers (the biggest turn out at one gig was fourteen).
